The Alpha's Regret: Seduced by His Mysterious Ex-Wife

Chapter 1

Phyllis POV :

I went to attend my son's parent-teacher conference, but I never expected that I’d arrive to find some stranger claiming to be his biological mother and sitting in my place.

It's been five years since the divorce, and this was my first time attending my son's parent-teacher conference. I never thought I’d encounter such a problem today.

I tried contacting my ex-husband multiple times, but he never responded. As the alpha of the Silvermoon Wolf Pack, he was always tied up with various affairs.

So, I gripped my phone tightly, ready to call the police if necessary.

I stood outside the classroom, as the noise coming from inside grew. It felt like it was shaking the entire building.

A woman was screaming angrily, her voice growing louder with each outburst.

“We’re both mothers, you should understand how I feel. Don’t blame me for wasting your time with this meeting because I’ve had enough!”

“She sent me explicit messages and photos from Instagram, as well as their hotel’s credit card bill! She even spent all the travel funds I saved for my son!”

“And now she dares to show up at this meeting? It’s an insult to my dignity! Does she think I’ll let her walk all over me like I’m nothing?! How can I tolerate this?!”

“As a public figure, I can no longer endure this! I need to teach her a lesson, or I’ll never forgive myself!”

Clearly, a group of parents had already been riled up by her words.

“Such a beautiful woman, yet she’s been cheated on by her husband… What, does he think he deserves Aphrodite or something? Go ahead and do what you need to! We won’t say a word! She deserves it!”

“Homewreckers should be punished and exposed to the whole world!”

“Livestream it now, let everyone see how wicked she is! It might even help you gain more followers.”

The more I listened, the more uncomfortable I felt.

My ex-husband’s new girlfriend, Gracia Clark, was absolutely livid, complaining to a group of excited parents. I immediately pulled out my phone to try contacting Darden.

But even after calling him three times, there was still no answer.

Left with no other choice, I sent him a message.

“What’s going on with you and your girlfriend? She’s causing a scene in our son’s class.”

As soon as I sent the message, my hair was suddenly yanked forcefully.

Before I could react, Gracia dragged me into the classroom.

A heavy kick from behind knocked me to the floor.

When I looked up, I saw that a phone camera was aimed directly at my face.

Gracia shouted, “Everyone, this is the mistress I was talking about!”

“She was just hiding outside the door, too scared to come in! She knows she’s guilty.”

“At your age, doing this kind of thing is just too shameful, don’t you think?”

Before I could explain, she threw her purse at my face.

My nose started bleeding, and my phone was nowhere to be found. I was planning to call the police.

She grabbed my phone and sneered, “Still not admitting it’s you? This is the phone my boyfriend bought for me! I have the receipt! You’ll have to compensate me in court!”

Chapter 2

Phyllis POV :

I wanted to explain that my son had asked me to buy the same phone because he wanted his mom and dad to match.

As soon as I opened my mouth, the taste of blood filled my throat, triggering uncontrollable coughing.

Gracia glared at the other parents and said angrily, “Did you all see that? I barely touched her yet look at her now!”

“No wonder she can seduce men! She looks like a temptress! Experienced and cunning…”

I coughed so hard my face turned red, my eyes bloodshot.

The parents in the classroom all stared at me with venomous eyes.

I quickly composed myself, swallowing my frustration.

With a calm expression, I said, “Gracia, for the last time, I’m not a mistress. Your behavior today is completely out of line!”

I wanted to settle this peacefully. After all, she was going to be my son’s stepmother. My whole life, I’ve always tried to look at the bigger picture.

If she bore a grudge against me, it would be my son who suffered.

As a mother, I would endure anything I could.

But upon hearing my words, her face contorted in anger.

She pushed the camera closer to me.

“Did you hear that? She’s threatening me now!”

“I’ll make sure everyone sees your true colors today, you old bitch!”

With that, she pulled out another phone and began recording.

Soon, pictures of me and my son at an amusement park flashed before my eyes.

Gracia snorted. “This old witch is actually after my son too! You’re old enough to be his grandmother! You really have no shame!”

“To climb the social ladder, you’re even using my son in your schemes. Let me warn you, if you ever touch my husband or son again, I’ll tear you apart!”

I frowned, unable to say a word.

I simply dressed professionally on most days, and today I wasn’t even wearing makeup. I wasn’t even thirty yet—did I really look that bad?

Seeing me remain silent, she coldly said, “Nothing to say? Someone grab her!”

“Rip her face off and let’s see how she seduces people then!”

A group of women rolled up their sleeves and surrounded me.

I tried to explain, but the words got caught in my throat. My lips were cracked and sore, and the pain made it hard to breathe.

“You’ve all got it wrong! I am his biological mother! Darden Jones is my ex-husband. We’ve been divorced for five years; there’s nothing going on between us anymore. I’ve been the one taking care of our son most of the time—”

Before I could finish, Gracia gave me a contemptuous look and sneered.

“Biological mother? Do you take me for a fool?”

“I’m about to marry the alpha, and you think I wouldn’t know that the former Luna was executed for betraying him long ago?”

“What kind of ex-wife are you? You’re nothing but a homewrecker trying to steal my son. Who do you think you are?”

“Today, I’ll teach you a lesson so you’ll know your place!”

I was so shocked I couldn’t speak.

I never imagined Darden would tell people I was dead just to avoid trouble.

Sweat started to form on my forehead as I desperately looked around for help, asking the other parents to call the police.

But no one responded.

Everyone was eagerly watching, as if enjoying they were enjoying a play.

Someone even pulled a pencil case out of a drawer and threw it at my head.

Bits of eraser got stuck in my hair.

Gracia’s expression grew even darker.

As she was about to attack me again, fury burned in her eyes.

I quickly said, “Let me call my son’s grandmother! I’ll put it on speaker; you can hear for yourself!”

Suspicion flickered in Gracia’s eyes, and she tossed my phone back to me.

“If you dare lie to me, you’re dead!”

As I dialed, Gracia’s friends watched me like hungry tigers.

The phone rang, and my heart raced.

But the next second, the call dropped—I had been blocked.

My phone slipped from my hand, and my face turned pale.

Gracia sneered. “Darden’s mom probably thinks you’re pulling a prank and decided to block you.”

Thinking of my son, my eyes lit up with hope.

“Wait, where’s my son? He can prove it! I came here today to attend the parent-teacher conference for him!” I said.

Gracia quickly stepped forward and slapped me hard.

“Enough! I’ve already warned you not to mention my son! Stay away from him, you old bitch! Do you have no shame?!” She shouted.

Chapter 3

Phyllis POV :

From the discussions around me, I overheard that the students had all been taken to the office by the homeroom teacher.

That explained why the teacher hadn’t shown up yet.

She was overwhelmed and unable to control the situation.

There was no one left to vouch for me now.

I didn’t even have my ID with me.

Sweat dripped from my body as anxiety consumed me, but Gracia didn’t give me even a second to think.

Her friends took one look at me and began smashing things in the classroom.

Their wild, uncontrolled behavior forced the other parents to leave.

Gracia turned her live-stream camera around, showing the state of the classroom. Desks and chairs lay shattered on the floor, and the white paint on the walls had been chipped off.

In just five minutes, the once-neat classroom had become a chaotic mess.

Red paint had been splashed on both the front and back boards, making the classroom look terrifying.

Seeing the destruction, Gracia laughed even more wildly.

Facing the camera, she said, “This old bitch wanted to attend the parent-teacher conference in my place, so today, I’m going to make sure she has an unforgettable experience.”

I couldn’t help but speak up. “When Darden finds out about this, you’ll regret it!”

“Do you even realize what you’re doing? When the truth comes out, you’ll be finished!”

She dramatically clutched her chest, her face contorting into an exaggerated expression.

“Ladies, this mistress is threatening me. I’m so scared! She’s already stolen my man, and now she wants to bully me!”

With that, she walked up and hit me on the head with her purse again.

After several blows, my head throbbed, and my mind went blank.

The pain made my vision blur. I was seeing stars.

As her high heels clicked, she stormed out angrily.

Outside, more parents were gathering, and students from nearby classes had been drawn to the scene. Several of them had already taken out their phones to record what was going on.

My weak cries for help were drowned out by their insults.

I didn’t even have time to stand up and grab my phone to call the police.

Struggling to lift myself, I barely touched the edge of my phone when a heavy blow struck my back.

Gracia stood before me, her face twisted in anger, holding a mop stained with repulsive yellow grime.

“Trying to run? Where do you think you’re going?” She sneered.

“The only person leaving here today is me!”

She hit me, and I fell to the ground, my eyes locked on the crowd outside the window.

Everyone was cheering for Gracia.

I had become the target of their scorn.

The large classroom was now full of onlookers, making it even more suffocating.

Her best friend walked up to me and kicked me hard.

I was a werewolf without a wolf, weaker than most werewolves. My bones trembled with pain, and my body felt limp and powerless.

“Let’s give her a chance! Doesn’t she want to attend the parent-teacher conference? Let’s make it happen!” Her friend said, her voice dripping with malice.

Gracia’s eyes gleamed with bloodlust as she added, “Drag her to the broadcasting room and make her confess to the whole school that she’s a homewrecker!”

My eyes widened in terror as I shook my head desperately.

Two girls grabbed me by the armpits, lifting me off the ground.

My lower half dragged along the floor, and my skirt began to tear, revealing the flesh-colored fabric underneath.

As I struggled, my car keys slipped out of my pocket.

Gracia’s eyes filled with rage.

She angrily picked up the keys and hurled them at my face. The keyring jabbed into my eye, instantly turning it red.

“This is my husband’s car, isn’t it? I saw the factory info on his phone! You’ve got some nerve!” She yelled.

But it was just part of the assets I received in the divorce.

Gracia listened intently, her gaze growing darker.

A parent, watching the scene, chimed in.

“Is that the car downstairs? I think I saw her get out of it earlier. Driving here without a care, not even worried about hitting children. People like her have no conscience!”

As soon as the parent finished talking, Gracia rushed to the railing and looked down.
