Family's Spoiling Kills: Reborn, I Seek Wild Revenge

Chapter 01

My younger sister, Freya, spent every day dreaming of marrying the Alpha and escaping her Omega status.

One day, she realized how much she resembled Luna Vivian when she was younger.

She believed that when she stood before Alpha Howard, he would inevitably choose her—the younger, more beautiful version—over that faded, no longer young Luna.

To replace Luna Vivian, Freya carefully orchestrated a rogue attack, intending to kill her.

I arrived just in time to stop the attack.

My wolf inside me growled in warning—this plan was reckless, and the consequences would be severe.

On the way home, I tried to reason with her. "Alpha Derek is the strongest leader in the pack. He's ruthless, sharp, and his wolf senses every lie. You won't fool him forever. Eventually, he'll know, and when that happens, the entire family will fall with you."

She nodded, pretending to listen.

But I could feel it—her wolf, restless and eager, had no intention of stopping.

That night, at dinner, she slipped wolfsbane into my food.

I could feel the wolfsbane's effect spreading through me, and my wolf fought it, trying to heal me, but the pain was unbearable.

As I was about to lose consciousness, she whispered, "You're just jealous that I have a face worthy of marrying the Alpha. You ruined my dream, so I ruined you."

Then——I opened my eyes again, only to find myself back on the day she was about to get Luna Vivian killed...

A loud, furious wolf howl echoed through the sky.

Today, the warriors were inspecting the border, and a rogue attack had just occurred.

One of the accompanying healers had been gravely injured.

Freya rushed forward, her movements quick and calculated.

She knelt beside the woman, pressing her hands to the wound, feigning panic as she shouted, "Teacher, I've called for help, you have to hold on!"

Her face, perfectly made-up, twisted with urgency. A faint white glow emanated from her palms as she pretended to heal the woman.

But I knew—it wasn't real. The energy from her hands didn't enter the woman's body; it was just for show.

When the ambulance arrived, so did the reporters.

Facing the cameras, Freya exploded, "Don't you have any conscience? Why are you interviewing me at a time like this? Saving lives is more important!"

She turned to the paramedics, her anxiety showing. "She's been receiving my treatment for so long—please, doctor, you have to save her! She's my teacher!"

The doctor, clearly moved, nodded. "We'll do everything we can. Do you know her family?"

Freya shook her head. "I don't, but as her student, I can go with you and cover her medical expenses."

Her scent, sweet and innocent, was deceiving.

As she turned to leave, no one noticed that she had snuck the unconscious woman's cell phone into her pocket.

I watched her follow the ambulance, the image of a selfless savior. But I could sense the truth. She wasn't saving a life; she was taking it.

As the ambulance drove off, a luxury car pulled up half an hour later.

A man in a gray suit stepped out—Beta Kody, Alpha Derek's right-hand. His presence filled the air, strong and commanding.

I blinked, focused, and sent my sister a mind-link.

"Freya Hall, I just saw you on TV. What did you do?"

Her reply came almost immediately.

"None of your business."

I smiled wryly. She had read too many romance novels, believing all powerful men were easily fooled.

After a chance encounter with Alpha Derek, he had said, "You look just like my mate when she was young."

Ever since then, she's dreamed of becoming Luna of the Silvermoon Pack.

In my past life, I had tried to stop her. But that only led to my tragic end. This time, I had to keep my distance. If Alpha Derek sought revenge, I didn't want to be caught in the crossfire.

Just as I was about to head home, my phone rang. It was the hospital.

"We have a patient urgently needing blood. Can you donate?"

A few days ago, I learned that I had a rare blood type, golden blood, said to have healing properties.

Without hesitation, I headed straight to the hospital.

I didn't expect the patient needing blood to be Luna Vivian.

After donating, I sat in the waiting area. Freya's eyes locked onto me the moment she saw me. "What are you doing here?"

I sat down. "I heard someone needed blood, so I came."

Then I glanced at her and asked, "Were you at the scene of the accident?"

In my past life, I had tried to stop her, even threatening to report her.

But this time, I remained silent, letting her lie.

She quickly replied, "It was a task my mentor assigned to me. I was just helping."

I simply murmured, "Oh," and closed my eyes. But she couldn't help herself.

"Fiona Hall, do you know who that injured woman is? She's Alpha Derek's Luna! He told me—I looked just like her when she was young. Once she's dead, I'll be the next Luna!"

Every time she said things like this, I tried to snap her out of her delusions.

But this time, I smiled and said, "Wow, congratulations. When you marry him, can you help me get a job at Silver Moon Pack?"

Her smile grew wide, thinking she'd won. "Mom and Dad were right. You were born to be a servant. I'll be the highest-ranked woman in the pack, and all you care about is working for someone else?"

At the moment, Alpha Derek's voice echoed outside.

Her eyes lit up, and she shot to her feet, eager to let everyone see her presence.

Before leaving, she turned to me and warned, "Don't show your face here. Don't ruin my chance."

We were twins, and she feared my presence would steal Derek's attention.

I wasn't worried. At this point, I just wanted to keep my distance.

Otherwise, when the blade fell on her, I might get drenched in her blood.

But then, she chuckled quietly. "Actually, on second thought… maybe you should show up."

She smiled, but I knew exactly what she meant.

Chapter 02

She and I may look alike, but our beauty is worlds apart.

From a young age, our parents favored her, while I struggled to even get a meal. Her golden hair flowed like wheat fields, while mine resembled dry straw. She had a graceful figure; I was thin and frail.

She was captivating. I was plain.

When Freya left the waiting area, she intentionally unbuttoned her blouse to accentuate her curves.

Soon after, I heard her comforting Alpha Derek. Her voice, deliberately soft and sweet, sent chills down my spine.

I had just donated blood and wasn't feeling well, so I curled up and drifted off to sleep.

When I woke, the hospital hallway was eerily silent.

I glanced at the time and decided to leave. The elevator was taking too long, so I opted for the stairs.

As I walked into the stairwell, I overheard Alpha Derek speaking with Beta Cody.

"Alpha, Luna's last phone signal was from the hospital, but now her phone is missing."

I froze, holding my breath.

Luckily, they didn't notice me.

"Investigate privately. Don't alert anyone," Derek's cold voice sent a shiver through me. "Today wasn't the day Luna was supposed to inspect the border. Something's off. Freya's too suspicious—start with her."

"Damn, if I find out who's behind this, I'll make them pay, along with their entire family."

A chill ran down my spine.

Rumors had it that before becoming Alpha, Derek spent nearly a decade as a warrior on the border, slaying countless rogues. He was ruthless, bloodthirsty.

Back then, Luna Vivian had been a healer on his team.

They had supported each other and built a bond strong enough to last until today.

I rushed home, shaken by what I had overheard. As I walked in, I heard my parents and Freya laughing.

Mom was cooing, expressing her concern for Freya, saying she'd sacrificed so much—money, blood donations—and bought her supplements to help with her health.

Freya waved her hand dismissively. "One pawn must be sacrificed to catch the big fish. Paying medical expenses is just a way to keep in touch with Derek."

Dad sighed. "Money is one thing, but why the blood donation? Who knows how long it'll take to recover?"

"If I didn't donate blood, that woman would have survived," Freya smirked. "I've been observing her—Vivian's allergic to wolf iris flower. I drank wolf iris flower's juice before donating. She's as good as dead."

They quickly began fantasizing about Freya becoming Luna.

I couldn't take it anymore. I walked up to them, incredulous, and pointed at Freya. "How could you do something like this?"

Hearing my voice, they fell silent.

I grabbed Freya's wrist, pretending to drag her outside. "You still have time to turn yourself in."

She shoved me away. "Fiona, are you insane? My plan is flawless. The border is unmonitored. The rogues were paid off and have already escaped. As long as you keep quiet, no one will suspect anything."

I frowned. "You think the Alpha is that naive? Why would Luna Vivian go to an unscheduled, off-limits area? No cameras doesn't mean no witnesses. You even had people recording your act for show—it's unbelievably stupid."

She froze for a second, then regained her composure. "So what? No one will suspect me. Fiona, what's your issue? Are you jealous?"

"I'm afraid you're going to drag this entire family down with you! If you don't confess, I'll report you."

The moment I spoke, my hair was yanked.

Dad yanked me back and kicked my leg hard.

I collapsed to the floor, but he wasn't satisfied. He slapped me twice.

"Everything your sister has done is for this family. You want to report her? If I knew you'd become so venomous, I would've strangled you at birth."

Mom joined in, egging him on. "Hit her! Someone like her needs to learn a lesson."

Freya crossed her arms, sneering. "Dad, beat her into submission, don't let her ruin our future."

As I endured my father's blows, memories of my past life flooded back.

Back then, when Freya poisoned me, I begged our parents to take me to the hospital.

But they locked me up, coldly watching me die, until I took my last breath.

I never understood why—though they were my parents, they always favored Freya.

We were twins, yet she wore new clothes and went to a good school, while I was locked in the attic, treated like a servant.

As my father beat me, I screamed. Freya sat on my chest, trying to cover my mouth, but it was too late.

Soon, a neighbor knocked on the door. "What's going on in there?"

Dad stopped, turning to the door. "Nothing, our eldest daughter just tripped."

Chapter 03

After the neighbor left, my father kicked me again. "Do you know what you've done?"

Normally, after such a beating, I would never admit fault, but this time, trembling like a scared rabbit, I quickly surrendered. "I'm sorry, Dad. I shouldn't have said that about Freya."

Still unsatisfied, he asked, "Are you still planning to report this?"

"No, I won't. I won't," I whispered, the pain in my body and heart overwhelming.

After repeated apologies, his anger finally subsided. I even knelt before my mother and Freya, begging for their forgiveness.

Mom coldly scoffed, "Enough. Go make dinner. I'm starving."

I obediently put on my apron and walked to the kitchen.

Just then, Freya's phone rang. She checked the screen and let out an excited scream.

"She's dead! Vivian's dead! I need to go to the hospital to comfort Alpha Derek!"

Her voice was manic with joy as she ran off to change, put on makeup, and slip into high heels before rushing out the door.

Worried for her safety, my parents grabbed the car keys and left with her.

The moment they left, I packed my bags, ready to leave this house forever.

Outside, I ran into a neighbor who noticed the bruises on my face. He frowned. "Your parents beat you again?"

His gaze flicked to the suitcase in my hand, and he clicked his tongue. "Good. Leave here. If you stay, you'll die."

I thanked him and walked away, hailing a taxi.

The radio played breaking news: Luna Vivian had died in a sudden rogue attack, and the entire pack was drowning in grief…

Alpha Derek had placed a ten-million-dollar bounty on the rogue pack responsible.

The driver sighed, his eyes flashing with sorrow and anger. "Luna Vivian was a good woman. She never flaunted her position as Luna, always taking on dangerous tasks herself… Once those rogues are found, we'll make them pay dearly."

I nodded in agreement.

The driver continued, "I heard Alpha Derek used to be cold-blooded and bloodthirsty. Luna kept him in check. Now she's gone... who knows where the pack will go from here?"

A heavy weight settled in my chest as I didn't know what to say.

Freya… she would get what she deserved.

In the following days, the pack was divided by two major news stories—one about Alpha Derek offering a huge reward for information on Luna's death, and the other about my sister's so-called heroic actions.

A video of her in white, covered in blood, kneeling as she desperately tried to save Vivian went viral. It was shared by millions, calling her a goddess.

Another video showed her crying in the hospital, saying to reporters, "My heart is broken, I couldn't save my teacher. I wasn't enough."

Behind her, Alpha Derek watched with a complicated expression.

She proudly shared the video in our family group chat.

"Did you guys see the way Derek looked at me? I can assure you he's in love with me!"

My parents immediately agreed, and the three of them began fantasizing about her becoming Luna and spending endless wealth.

I was the only one who spoke the truth.

"Interested in you? Interested in what you've really done, I suppose?"

My words immediately sparked her fury.

She sent me screenshots of her and Derek's conversation.

In the past few days, they had exchanged hundreds of messages. She had been comforting him, and he responded, saying her words were a great comfort to him.

The tone was flirtatious, almost tender.

She gloated. "See? Do you still think he doesn't have feelings for me?"

I couldn't hold back my warning. "Have you considered that he might just want to use you to get information about Luna's murder? Derek can have any woman he wants—why would he choose you?"

Freya snapped. "Fiona, are you asking for another beating?"

My father interrupted, "Where have you been hiding these past few days? Don't think we can't find you."

The three of them took turns berating me, finally warning me that if I called the authorities, they would kill me.

I put my phone away and glanced outside.

After leaving home, I rented a small apartment. With no money, I could only afford a place on the outskirts, near the border.

Ironically, it was close to where Luna Vivian had died.

Every day after work, I saw Beta Cody, his face weary from constant investigation, checking over the clues again and again.

Two days later, Freya shared another chat screenshot in the family group.

Derek had invited her and my parents to his estate to show gratitude.

She @'d me.

"Fiona, do you see my charm now? This isn't just a visit—it's meeting the family! I'm about to be the new lady of Silver Moon Pack!"

I didn't respond.

She was so focused on seducing Derek that she didn't notice the oddities around her.

The news of Luna Vivian's death had disappeared from the internet.

The police had stopped investigating.

Even Beta Cody had stopped looking into the case.

This wasn't a thank-you dinner.

It was a death trap.

They had finally led themselves down a road to destruction.
